Peguy Luyindula is hoping his move to Paris Saint Germain has paved the way for a recall to the French national team.
The forward moved to Parc des Princes from Levante in January and has scored twice in 10 Ligue 1 appearances to date.
He admits PSG are his dream club and is now hoping he can catch the eye of France coach Raymond Domenech.
"Paul Le Guen, the coach I knew at Lyon, knows my game very well," Luyindula told L'Equipe.
"He knows I am not a player to be restricted to just one style.
"If he had not been present in Paris, I would have joined the club anyway because PSG has always been my preferred club.
"It may seem pretentious, but I am sure I will join Les Bleus again. Then, the most difficult thing is to stay, not to go back.
"It is just up to me. I have to go on playing well. Then my performances will impose the rest."
Luyindula also revealed his attacking team-mate Pauleta is an example for the rest of the PSG squad to follow.
He added: "Pedro Miguel Pauleta is a very great professional. He even supports us more when he is on the bench.
"When you think about all the goals he has scored, his status and you see he can keep his smile even on the bench, he has not got a bad behaviour, he is an example."
