Sylvain Armand is conscious of the importance of Paris Saint Germain's next game against former club Nantes.
The two sides are currently separated by five points at the bottom of Ligue 1, with PSG sitting just one place outside the relegation zone.
Defender Armand is hoping his new club come out on top on Saturday to put them within touching distance of safety.
"It will be a crucial head-to-head and we are preparing for it well," Armand told But. "This match is more important for PSG than for Nantes.
"Winning would see us leave our difficult position and put Nantes eight points behind us.
"Personally, I have no special feelings. After the match though, I will hope the Nantes players avoid relegation."
