Bonaventure Kalou has been ruled out of Paris Saint Germain's Uefa Cup game against AEK Athens with an ankle injury.
The Ivory Coast international picked up the problem in training and will now have to rely on his team-mates to finish the job they started with a 2-0 victory in Greece.
More concerning for Paul Le Guen could be Kalou's fitness come Sunday, when PSG clash with St Etienne in the league.
PSG are just two points above the relegation zone and will be keen to have Kalou in action, but he admits he is struggling to put any weight on his foot at present.
"It is painful. I can't press my foot on the ground," he said.
"I did it on my own in training."
