Marcelo Gallardo admitted it was a dream come true to join Paris Saint Germain.
The Argentine schemer is set to sign a two-and-a-half-year deal at Parc Des Princes next week when the transfer window reopens.
Gallardo cancelled his contract with River Plate earlier this month to allow him to join PSG on a free transfer.
The former Monaco man is excited at the prospect of playing for PSG.
"I am happy because to me Paris is a fantastic challenge," said Gallardo. "I want to match the demands from the people who have faith in me.
"It is a dream to sign for Paris. Each time I came here with Monaco, I have been impressed by Parc des Princes, the city, and the fans. Here it is just great!
"I came here for a fortnight of holidays. I feel good both in my mind and physically."
