Vikash Dhorasoo's lawyer has defended the player after he was sacked by Paris Saint Germain on Wednesday.
Following a lengthy suspension, Dhorasoo's contract was finally terminated for his public criticism last month of coach Guy Lacombe.
However, lawyer Olivier Martin believes the 33-year-old has been wrongfully dismissed, as he was entitled to express his opinions.
"He is not going to let himself be pushed around," said Martin.
"They sacked him for gross misconduct after a very long delay to think about. That shows the facts were not so clear.
"PSG have forgotten one essential principle: freedom of expression for an employee."
