Paris Saint Germain star Mario Yepes has backed Laurent Fournier to stay on as manager beyond the end of the season.
Lyon coach Paul Le Guen has been strongly linked with a move to Parc des Princes and these rumours have been given extra credence with the recent appointment of Le Guen's friend Pierre Blayau as the new PSG chairman.
However the Parisians' Colombian stopper has lent his support to Fournier and also revealed that he is happy with life in Paris where he is Ligue 1's best paid player.
"Our last performances on the pitch will give Fournier a chance to continue to be our coach," said Yepes.
"Laurent trusts the group, with him the results are better and I hope we will finish the season well before seeing what will happen in the summer.
"I still have three years on my contract, I feel at ease in the team, in Paris.
"We have to wait and see what will exactly happen at the end of the season, considering the aims and the club's future plans."
Blayau was introduced to the players on Tuesday, and is expected to announce his plans for next season after the last game of the campaign on May 28.
