Inter have refuted suggestions that they have been in talks to sell Edgar Davids to PSG.Internazionale have refuted suggestions that they have been in talks to sell Edgar Davids to Paris Saint Germain.
Reports in France suggested that PSG coach Vahid Halilhodzic had pinpointed Davids as the man to end his quest to sign a defensive midfielder.
The Dutch international has been strongly linked with a move away from Giuseppe Meazza during the transfer window.
Former club Juventus were tipped to make a swoop for Davids, while injury-hit Liverpool were also mooted as suitors of the midfielder.
PSG were the latest club to be mentioned in connection with an offer for Davids, with rumours claiming they had discussed a deal with Inter.
But PSG then ditched their interest in the ex-Barcelona loan star due to a change in the player's transfer fee.
Inter, though, insist they have not been trying to offload Davids and are adamant he is not for sale.
"Inter have always considered, and consider now, Edgar Davids to be a player not for transfer," said Nerazzurri official Marco Branca.
"There absolutely haven't been any negotiations for Davids with PSG or other clubs."
Meanwhile, Inter have loaned young midfielder Mario Rebecchi to Cremonese for the rest of the season.
