AFTER a less than impressive start to the season, Paris Saint Germain boss Vahid Halilhodzic is likely to make some changes for Saturday's clash at Guingamp.

With just two wins from six games the PSG boss is likely to drop Bernard Mendy (pictured) to the substitutes' bench and bring in Talal El Karkouri at right back.

The Bosnian boss told L'Equipe he had talked to former Bolton defender Mendy, and assured him that he is still part of his future plans.

He said: "I had a talk with Mendy to reassure him, to remind him he is full of talent but he has to work.

"It is nice because he is aware of his weaknesses. The first priority of a full back is to defend.  The second one is to support the attackers.

"Talal has good speed and technical qualities for a defender."

Top scorer Reinaldo could also find himself on the bench and Halilhodzic says playing with just one forward does not necessarily mean sacrificing more in attack.

"Manchester United and Barcelona play with just one forward but it doesn't mean they are attacking less," he added.
