Pablo Correa was furious with some of the refereeing decisions after seeing his Nancy side lose 1-0 to Blackburn in the Uefa Cup.

Nancy dominated the game but had to settle for second spot in Group E after a late goal from Lucas Neill gave Blackburn the points.

Correa felt that his team played well and deserved a penalty in the first half when Issiar Dar was adjudged to have dived under Neill's challenge.

"In that match there were elements we could not control. When I see an obvious penalty and my player got a yellow card, that almost makes me sick," he said.

"My team played a good match against a team as courageous as us.

"Before starting that competition we would have taken second place, but we are disappointed with the way it happened."

In other news, Abdeslam Ouaddou is training with Nancy after leaving Olympiakos by mutual consent.

The Morocco international joined Olympiakos in May 2005 but agreed with the Greek club that it was time for him to move on.

"Everything was fine on the pitch, but I wanted to leave for personal reasons."
