Le Mans striker Ismael Bangoura has penned a contract extension with the Ligue 1 outfit.
The 21-year-old has netted four times this term and has been rewarded with a new deal through to 2009.
"The club counts on me," Bangoura told But. "I am proud to continue the adventure with them.
"I was persuaded that we can achieve big things in the future."
Bangoura is believed to have been a target for Juventus and the Guinean international is keen to ply his trade at a higher level in the future.
He added: "Juventus? I don't know about that, but I am happy to know my work is being recognised.
"I aim to play at the highest level possible, it could be in France, Italy or England."
