Experienced winger returns to club where he started his career

Auxerre have re-signed former France winger Olivier Kapo on an 18-month contract.

The 31-year-old, who spent five years with Auxerre at the start of his career, has been a free agent since unsuccessful short spells with Scottish Premier League side Celtic and Qatar's Al-Ahli.

He has been training with Auxerre since the start of the month and the Ligue 1 outfit have seen enough to offer him a deal.

The winger, who previously played in England for Birmingham and Wigan, will wear the number 10 shirt at the Stade Abbe Deschamps.
