Auxerre have swelled their ranks with the double capture of Daniel Niculae and Frederic Thomas.
New coach Jean Fernandez has wasted little time in making his own mark, having only arrived at the club last month.
Striker Niculae (pictured) is believed to have snubbed offers from Steaua Bucharest, Hamburg and Rangers to make the move from Rapid Bucharest to Auxerre.
He has signed a four-year deal, with Rapid pocketing some é¼3.3 million (£2.2 million)
Thomas, meanwhile, has made the move to Auxerre following seven seasons at Le Mans.
The midfielder, 25, has signed a four-year deal and joins Senegal midfielder Issa Ba who made the move from Chateauroux earlier in the summer.
