Internazionale are being linked with a move for Monaco midfielder Diego Perez.
The rugged Uruguayan has impressed many observers with his efforts in the Monaco engine room and Inter coach Roberto Mancini is reported to see him as a man capable to adding some steel to his side.
Perez, who was sent off against Troyes at the weekend, joined Monaco in 2004 and has made a solid impact in Ligue 1.
Mancini is looking to add a holding midfielder to his ranks in January and reports suggest he could make a move for Perez when the transfer window reopens.
