Vikash Dhorasoo's future at Paris Saint Germain looks set to be resolved within days after weeks of uncertainty.
The diminutive midfielder was suspended by his club last month for publicly criticising coach Guy Lacombe.
While the pressure has been increasing on Lacombe following a poor start to the season, chairman Alain Cayzac has been making up his mind on both player and coach.
Dhorasoo, who met with Cayzac last week, is waiting to hear back from the chairman but is also assessing his options away from the French capital.
Bolton were linked with the 32-year-old in the summer, but Monaco are believed to be frontrunners in the pursuit of his signature.
