Monaco are weighing up a move for Italy defender Christian Zaccardo.
Zaccardo is currently away with Italy at the World Cup and he has helped them reach the final.
The young defender has featured in one game for Italy at the finals and was unfortunate enough to score an own goal in the draw with USA.
Monaco are reported to have tabled a ‚é¼ 4 million (£3.5 million) bid for Zaccardo's services.
The Principality outfit are now waiting to hear from Palermo if their bid has been successful.
The French side will be hoping their links with new Palermo boss Francesco Guidolin will boost their chances of landing Zaccardo.
