The agent of Monaco goalkeeper Flavio Roma has denied that his client is harbouring fears over his future.

The 31-year-old Italian has struggled this season with a groin injury and underwent surgery in December in a bid to cure what has been a long-standing problem.

Talk in France has been that Roma is unsure as to whether he will be able to make a comeback but such suggestions have been shot down by his representative, Oscar Damiani.

''Talk about unavailability until the end of the season is unfounded,'' he claimed.

''There is no trouble with Flavio and I have trust that his rehabilitation is improving logically.''

Livorno chairman Aldo Spinelli has claimed that Monaco have contacted him with regards to goalkeeper Marco Amelia but this too has been denied by Damiani.

''Monaco have never been attracted by Amelia,'' said Damiani.
