Monaco striker Emmanuel Adebayor has hit out at coach Francesco Guidolin as he looks to leave the club.

The Togo international has been fined and barred from training with the first team squad after failing to report back to the club after the winter break.

The recent arrivals of Marco Di Vaio and Christian Vieri have cast further doubt over Adebayor's future with the club admitting they would consider offers for the player.

Adebayor claims a number of players are unhappy with Guidolin and that was one of the reasons why Patrice Evra left for Manchester United.

"The arrival of Christian Vieri has improved my desire to leave," Adebayor told Le Figaro.

"If I stay, I will finish the season on the bench.

"When he (Guidolin) replaced Didier Deschamps in October, I felt I was not part of his plans.

"Today, I feel you have to be Italian to be in the starting XI in that team.

"Evra, who I consider as my brother, left for Manchester, but a lot of other players feel uncomfortable with Guidolin.

"He talks Italian and we can't understand anything."
