Derby manager Nigel Clough has announced that an agreement is in place to bring in David Martin on loan. The Millwall winger was expected to arrive at Pride Park before last week's transfer deadline but a move failed to materialise. However, he is now poised to join the Rams when the emergency loan window reopens on Tuesday with a view to a permanent deal. The 24-year-old could make his debut in Tuesday's clash against Newcastle if the switch is completed in time. "Everything is agreed. The window opens on Tuesday morning and we can register him up to noon as an emergency loan," Clough told the Derby Telegraph. "He'll be in the 18 against Newcastle United if it gets sorted. "It will be a loan to the end of the season but the permanent deal is agreed. It will be ideal to get him for the next two or three months so he can settle in." The Rams have also been linked with a move for Arsenal youngster Gilles Sunu and Clough added: "The player is happy to come and we have agreed the wages with Arsenal, so it is just a case of them getting it sorted." Derby winger Lee Croft, meanwhile, has resumed full training after a spell on the sidelines with a hamstring problem. Croft has not featured for the Rams since the FA Cup third round replay against Millwall on 12th January.
