France coach Raymond Domenech has hinted Andre-Pierre Gignac could have a promising international career ahead of him.
The young Lorient striker has made an impressive start to the Ligue 1 season, including netting a hat-trick against Nantes back in August.
Domenech believes Gignac has excellent positional play and believes he has something special about him.
"He's always in the right position, he moves very well and he has something that the others don't," explained Domenech to the French Federation's website.
"Now, he's confirmed his talent by scoring a hat-trick.
"When a coach watches him he says 'With this guy, everything can happen in the match'.
"So I'm going to following his performances, because he is very clever during a game.
"I'm interested in watching him progress."
