LORIENT have taken Nantes midfielder Johan Cavalli on trial with a view to making the switch permanent.
The 20-year-old midfielder will train with the Lorient squad before coach Yvon Pouliquen decides if he would like to keep him permanently.
Pouliquen has been looking for a replacement for Ulrich Le Pen, who left for Ipswich, and believes that Cavalli can fill the gap down the left-hand side.
Cavalli had a trial at Metz last year but the club decided not to take the matter, further and he is now hoping to earn a deal at Le Moustoir.
