Striker Salomon Kalou has vowed to stay at Lille at least until the end of the season.
Third-placed Lille travel to face St Etienne in Ligue 1 on Friday, and news of former Chelsea frontman Kalou's commitment should lift them.
The 28-year-old had been linked with a return to the English Premier League, but said on ligue1.com: "I'm happy here. Why change clubs mid-season? We started well and I would like to continue to the end.
"We have a state of mind here which I won't find anywhere else."
A win for Lille could move them up to second place ahead of Monaco's trip to Toulouse on Sunday.
The prolific Radamel Falcao, who has netted nine goals in 16 league appearances, will spearhead the Monaco attack as they look to bite into the five-point lead currently held by Paris St Germain at the top of the league.
Trumping the Colombian international in the scoring charts are PSG strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, with their partnership taking Ligue 1 by storm.
