Ivory Coast ace has not been offered new terms

Max Gradel insists he cannot commit his long-term future to Leeds United until the club place an offer on the table. The Ivory Coast winger proved a revelation in the Championship last season with an excellent 18-goal league return. Gradel is now into the final 12 months of his existing deal and many fans are eager for The Whites to prolong his Elland Road stay. However, the 23-year-old insists that he cannot sign on the dotted line unless Leeds' hierarchy make him a contract offer. Gradel has been linked with a summer move as Leeds are against the idea of losing him on a free transfer next year. "I can't sign a deal when there is no deal," explained Gradel. "I've been waiting for a contract but I haven't been offered a deal yet. "I've said I want to take this club back into the Premier League, but you can't guarantee what's going to happen."
