Erding and Savidan happy to stay

Strikers Mevlut Erding and Steve Savidan are both flattered to be linked with Marseille. Both strikers are said to be targets for the southern French giants, who are looking to bolster their options in January. Caen star Savidan, 30, only moved there last summer and he insists he is not ready to quit for the Stade Velodrome. "Of course it's flattering," said Savidan. "It means that my good start to the season, and that of Caen, is getting noticed. "But you know, I've just signed a three-year deal with Caen. If any decision needs to be taken regarding my immediate future, it won't be me making it, but the club. And I'm not about to go to my president to say: 'I want to sign for Marseille!'" Sochaux starlet Erding has been linked with a number of clubs but he also reiterated his stance of not thinking about leaving. "I know that rumour. I notably know l'OM is following me for next season. I don't think about a departure in January," he said. Attacking wise, l'OM are also said to be keeping close tabs on Lens striker Toifilou Maoulida, who has impressed in Ligue 2 so far this term, and St Etienne's Bafetimbi Gomis. A defender is also high on Eric Geret's list of priorities with Crvena Zvezda ace Vujadin Savic said to be of particular interest. Reports in the south of France also suggest Rangers' summer signing Madjid Bougherra and Lille's Adil Rami could be options.
