St Etienne striker Matt Moussilou hopes to force his way into Ivan Hasek's plans and help the club in their European push.
Moussilou joined Les Verts on loan from Nice in January but has appeared sporadically for his new club.
St Etienne are currently in sixth place in Ligue 1 and Moussilou hopes to play a part in their end of season run-in.
"In my mind, we have the potential to reach a European qualification this season," he told But.
"I hope I will help the team to reach their aim, to contribute to that challenge and to experience a nice end of season, full of suspense and joy.
"Honestly, I thought I would play more often, but that is life. The attack works well. I am ready and waiting for my hour. I know what I can bring to the team.
"I don't know if St Etienne will sign me after my loan, I am not thinking about it. I am focused on my work. What counts is to find my confidence.
"I am waiting for my chance and I hope that it will come before the end of the season."
