St Etienne coach Elie Baup could be leaving the club in the summer, according to the local media.
The former Bordeaux boss has another season remaining on his current contract, but has a clause allowing him to leave for nothing this summer.
Baup does not have the best relationship with chairman Bernard Caiazzo, mainly due to the lack of money he was given in the winter transfer window.
Baup would like to try his hand at managing in Spain or Italy, while Auxerre are also thought to be keen admirers of his work.
The summer could see a lot of change at Les Verts, with a number of players also set to depart.
Didier Zokora is sure to leave in the summer, while Pascal Feindouno could follow him out of the exit door with offers from Spain.
Bordeaux striker Jean-Claude Darcheville is thought to be a St Etienne target for the summer, along with Auxerre's Benoit Cheyrou.
