Lille have confirmed that Mickael Landreau's contract with the club has been terminated by mutual consent.
The 33-year-old goalkeeper had been tied to Lille until the summer of 2014 but he has recently fallen down the pecking order under Rudi Garcia and an agreement has now been reached for him to leave immediately.
The decision brings to an end a three-year spell at the club for Landreau, who has made more than 100 appearances since arriving from Paris St Germain.
"LOSC and Mickael Landreau have decided by mutual consent to end their collaboration," read a statement on Lille's official website.
"The club and the goalkeeper have today [Friday] signed an agreement to end his contract with immediate effect."
It is thought the France international wants to stay in Ligue 1 and reports suggest Bastia, Evian and Toulouse are all interested in signing him.
