New Southampton striker Emmanuel Mayuka says he cannot wait to fulfil his "dream" of playing Premier League football.
Zambia international Mayuka joined the newly-promoted Saints from Swiss side Young Boys Berne on Tuesday.
He could make his English debut when Nigel Adkins' men host Manchester United on Sunday.
And the 21-year-old attacker, Zambia's joint top scorer when they won the 2012 African Cup of Nations, believes he can find the net on a regular basis for the South Coast club.
"I've always dreamed of playing in the Premier League and I thank God," said Mayuka. "I'm happy now that I'm here and I just want to do my thing to help the team.
Passion
"We will do well together - that's the most important thing and that's why I'm here, to help the team to achieve our goals."
He added: "I cannot wait to be out there wearing a Southampton shirt and get going.
"I think the passion of the team and the fans is good and I believe that Southampton is one of the best clubs in England, so for me it was quite easy to decide to come here.
"I'm a good scoring striker and I believe Southampton is best for me."
