FC Nantes have shown an interest in signing Monaco striker Sebastien Grax.
Grax had hoped to force his way into Laurent Banide's plans this season after two seasons on loan at Troyes.
However, the 22-year-old has only appeared three times this term and is keen to play regularly in Ligue 1.
Nantes are on the lookout for a striker and have already had talks with Grax about a possible switch.
"I had the chance to discuss with (Nantes director of sport) Japhet N'Doram on the phone," Grax told Ouest-France.
"I wasn't surprised to receive his call, we discussed it a little.
"I am interested, but I don't know if Monaco will agree to let me go on loan.
"We will know next Tuesday, when I have to met with (Monaco director of sports) Jean-Luc Ettori and (general director) Marc Keller."
Nantes, who have also been linked with Bordeaux's Jean-Claude Darcheville and Toulouse's Santos, are not the only club keeping tabs on Grax's situation.
The striker is also interesting Sochaux and Sedan.
Grax added: "Nantes aren't the only club to have approached me."
