Juventus had scouts at Sochaux's game against Nantes on Sunday, amidst suggestions that they are checking out the club's young stars.
Sochaux were denied a win by a late goal from their hosts, but the news that Italian giants Juve are watching some of their players will come as no surprise.
The performances of Jeremy Menez and Jeremy Mathieu have earned admiring glances from several top clubs this season, and the duo both featured in the weekend's 2-2 draw.
However, it was Brazilian star Ilan who made the biggest impact, scoring a brace for Sochaux.
Juventus have been the pace-setters in Italy this season, and lead Serie A by four points after a 0-0 draw against Milan on Saturday.
Coach Fabio Capello already has a glittering squad at his disposal, but remains keen to snap up the best young players in the world.
