SOCHAUX have lost both Adel Chedli and Omar Daf to ankle problems.

Chedli is set to be sidelined for six to eight weeks after it was confirmed that he will go under the knife on a serious ankle problem.

The Tunisian midfielder has suffered serious tendonitis inflammation to the ankle and will be operated on later this month.

Sengalese defender Daf will also undergo an ankle operation, similar to the one Chedli will have.

Daf has been sidelined since November with ruptured knee ligaments and has only just started training again.

The African would not be fit for another month anyway, so Sochaux have decided he should have his long standing ankle problem sorted out at the same time.
