"Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announced that striker Mevlut Erding will continue to play this season under the badge of PSG," reads a statement on the French giants' official website.
"Despite numerous requests from clubs wishing to engage the services of Mevlut, the club and the player have decided to continue their adventure together."
Erding, a Turkey international, joined PSG from Sochaux in the summer of 2009 and has a contract until June 2013.
