Elfsborg's Samuel Holmen is flattered to be linked with a move to Ligue 1 outfit Rennes.
The midfielder believes Swedish players are in demand in France due to the success of Andreas Isaksson and Kim Kallstrom.
Holmen is crossing his fingers on a move, but knows a lot of hurdles need to be jumped before he can secure a move away from Elfsborg.
"It worked very well with both Isaksson and Kallstrom," Holmen told the Expressen.
"They have realised that Sweden is a good country to recruit from.
"There are so many pieces which need to fall in place. I don't want to think about it right now."
Meanwhile, young keeper Simon Pouplin has expressed his delight at penning a new deal at Stade de la Route-de-Lorient."I'm delighted to sign with the club that have trusted me from the beginning," he told the club's official website.
