Rennes star Alexander Frei has refused to confirm whether he will be with the club next season.
Frei finished the season as top scorer in Ligue 1 with 20 goals and his services are in demand.
Rennes finished in fourth, which secured a Uefa Cup spot, and are keen to keep hold of their prized asset.
"I hope my best season is still to come!" said Frei.
"I think people remember more the cups or titles. The next season will be exciting too and the expectation will be more important for me.
"Now, I won't tell you if I will be here or not."
