Inter duo catch Monaco's eye

Monaco are rumoured to be planning a raid on Internazionale for a couple of Neroazzurri players.

Emre Belozoglu and Mohammed Kallon are the two men in question, with reports in France indicating that a complex deal could be struck.

Inter may seek first option on Monaco's Sebastien Squillaci and Patrice Evra in an attempt to sign the young defenders in time for the 2005-2006 season.

Discussions are expected to take place between the two clubs in the coming weeks.

Didier Deschamps is also trailing Rennes duo Olivier Monterrubio and Olivier Sorlin.

Monaco are also still keen on Fernando Morientes, although he remains a difficult target, and captain Ludovic Giuly is heading for Barcelona.
