Rennes coach Laszlo Boloni was impressed with Sweden international Andreas Isaksson in his country's 1-0 victory over England, but is in no rush to make a bid.
Boloni is keeping his goalkeeping options open this summer with current number one Petr Cech set to link-up with Premiership outfit Chelsea during the close season.
The tactician is pleased with the keeper's attributes, but dropped a hint he may not make a move for him as he is looking to promote youngster Florent Chaigneau up their ranks.
"He is a good build, young and will put a more experienced keeper on the bench," said Boloni. "He is without doubt better than our young keeper, but not better than Petr Cech.
"He can still improve a lot. But I've not forgotten we have Chaigneau, a keeper who is a World Champion at Under-17 and Under-21 level."
Meanwhile, Abdeslam Ouaddou, who has been at Rennes on loan this season from Fulham, is attracting interest from Espanyol and Manchester City.
