TROYES striker Nicolas Gousse could well leave the club and has no shortage of offers from around Le Championnat.
The 26-year-old was amongst the top scorers in France this season with 14 goals and has attracted the interest of Monaco, Auxerre and Rennes.
Monaco coach Didier Deschamps was thought to be looking at Gousse as a replacement for Oliver Bierhoff but is now on the trial of Lyon's Sonny Anderson.
Auxerre boss Guy Roux is trying to build on his talented young squad for next season's Champions League, and sees Gousse as a back up to hot-shot Djibril Cisse.
Roux is aware that he needs to increase his squad in order to challenge on a number of fronts next season, although Gousse would not be happy to be used mainly as a substitute.
Rennes are the other side interested but Troyes will be loathe to let him go, especially with both Patrice Loko and Samuel Boutal set to leave the club, and only a massive offer would persuade them to part with their top striker.
