RENNES midfielder Christophe Le Roux has confirmed that he will be leaving the club at the end of the season when his contract expires.

The 33-year-old says that Rennes have not spoken to him about a new deal, and he could be ready to join Paris Saint Germain for next season.

PSG boss Luis Fernandez is keen to bring him to the Parc des Princes, with reports suggesting that a two-year deal is on the table.

Le Roux says that he will decide his future once Christian Gourcuff's side have ensured their place in Le Championat, but he will not be playing Route-de-Lorient next season.

"I am sure of one thing, in my mind, I have already left Rennes," said Le Roux.

"The club's officials haven't proposed anything yet.

"I am very flattered by the PSG contacts and the offer is really interesting but I haven't taken my decision yet.

"As soon as Rennes will have preserved their place in Le Championnat, I will decide."
