Albert Emon insists Marseille's immediate priority is reaching the final of the Coupe de France.

L'OM are chasing a place in next season's UEFA Champions League and are currently four points adrift of the top three.

But before the resumption of that challenge, Marseille meet Nantes at home in the cup semi-finals on Wednesday.

Emon has underlined the importance of the game with Les Canaris and is eager for Marseille to make up for last season's loss to Paris Saint Germain in the final.

"That match against Nantes is a priority," Emon told the French media. "We have to seize that opportunity to go to Stade de France.

"We are lucky to play that semi-final at home in front of 60,000 fans.

"We have to make them dream and offer them a new final.

"A semi-final failure would be terrible and we don't even think about it.

"We lost four points against Nantes in two Ligue 1 matches this season, so we can't underestimate that team. Nantes is a team of individual qualities."

The Marseille coach, though, could be without key midfielder Lorik Cana for the game after the Albanian injured his knee against Valenciennes at the weekend.
