Ribery suffers injury blow

Franck Ribery will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a foot injury.

The Marseille winger was replaced midway through the first half of his side's 3-0 defeat to Toulouse on Saturday.

He sustained a fracture in his right foot and is to undergo more examinations this week to determine the exact length of his lay-off.

But Marseille boss Albert Emon revealed on the club's official website: "He will not be able to play or train for at least two weeks."

Ribery will therefore miss Marseille's French Cup quarter-final against third division Vannes on Tuesday, as well as the league matches against Lens and Lyon.

Marseille have failed to win any of their last five Ligue 1 matches and dropped to eighth in the table following the defeat to Toulouse.
