Levante have clinched the transfer of defender Frederic Dehu from Marseille.
The Frenchman has put pen pen-to-paper on a one-year contract with an option of extending the deal by a further two years.
The 33-year-old has been brought in to add some steel and experience to the Levante line-up in what is expected to be a tough season for the Primera Liga new boys.
They were promoted to the top flight after finishing third in the Segunda division last term.
Dehu will be hoping for a better campaign personally following a brief but unsuccessful spell at Barcelona in 2000.
