Mickael Pagis will not play again this season for Marseille because of a knee injury.
The striker picked up the injury in a challenge with Paris Saint Germain defender Bernard Mendy during the Coupe de France final at the weekend.
Pagis underwent a MRI scan on Tuesday that revealed damage to knee ligaments that is likely to keep him out for up to three weeks.
"It is a slight sprain of the knee ligaments," confirmed the club's doctor.
"He is unlikely to be available for between 15 and 20 days."
The injury is a blow to Marseille who were hoping the 33-year-old's goals would propel the club into next season's Uefa Cup.
