Marseille midfielder Benoit Pedretti denies he is ready to throw in the towel on his Stade Velodrome career.
The France international has struggled to shine since his move to l'OM but does not regret the switch from Sochaux.
"It is a rumour," he told L'Equipe. "Just a rumour.
"I never came to tell you I was leaving, nor did Jean-Pierre Bernes (his agent).
"I really ask myself why every day there are clubs' names linked with me.
"My wish is to stay. I didn't come here to stay only six months."
Of course, the situation could change if Marseille look to offload their disappointing investment.
"Do people still need me?" he asked. "Do they want me to stay?
"That is the question.
"On a personal level, I still want to stay. If they still want me, I will be there.
"But they have to say these things to my face. I never talk about a possible departure."
