Marseille coach Jose Anigo broke a week-long media silence to draw a line under speculation surrounding his position.

Anigo's future at the club was in doubt after some poor results but following a 2-0 victory over Strasbourg he was keen to look to the future.

"What worse could happen? We were booed, we played in an empty stadium, we let the storm pass over and then won against Strasbourg," said Anigo.

"We have to accept all that, now these things are behind us.

"I am not interested anymore by trivial events, we will try to remain calm and improve."

Meanwhile, Fabien Barthez is likely to be fit for the trip to Ajaccio after missing France's midweek international with Poland.

Injuries will mean that Benoit Pedretti, Habib Beye and Demetrius Ferreira will all miss the trip.
