Fiorese's l'OM delight

Fabrice Fiorese has expressed delight at sealing a move to Marseille.

Fabrice Fiorese has expressed delight at sealing a move to Marseille, but his transfer has angered Paris Saint Germain coach Vahid Halilhodzic.

Gifted winger Fiorese shocked the capital club when sealing a move to Stade Velodrome on transfer deadline day.

Fiorese is excited by the prospect of turning out for l'OM and praised coach Jose Anigo for the effort he made to get him.

"I am happy and proud to wear the l'OM shirt," he said. "I have dreamt about this for a long time and now it has come true, I am ready to reach a new level.

"I had a long phone call with Jose Anigo and I was immediately attracted and I did everything to come here.

"I had not forecasted to leave Paris, but there were factors and I don't want to go into them."

The move has clearly left a sour taste in the mouth of PSG coach Halilhodzic, who said: "This is a gesture that doesn't deserve comment.

"He took the club and the team hostage.

"It is a situation I could not have imagined the day before. I was sick when I came home."
