Perrin after loan keeper

By Patrick Haond
Marseille coach Alain Perrin has said he wants to bring another goalkeeper to the club on loan.

Number two keeper Cedric Carrasso has been ruled out for six months through injury, prompting Perrin to search for cover for first choice Vedran Runje.

The l'OM boss admitted he is finding it hard to get the right man, saying: "People have offered us several 'keepers, but we didn't make a choice because we want to look at them further.

"A lot of clubs want a transfer like Troyes, who offered Tony Heurtebis. But we can't make a transfer because we will have another keeper available in six months.

"We don't know whether to get a young player in who doesn't play very often or an experienced player from a team which has three or four keepers."

Meanwhile, Marseille chairman Christophe Bouchet has admitted they failed to sign Marcelo Gallardo, Jean-Alain Boumsong, Pauleta and Benoit Pedretti in the summer.
