MARSEILLE are looking to bring in Nantes goalkeeper Mickael Landreau at the end of the season.

Alain Perrin's side are second top of Le Championnat table but still have trouble in between the sticks and are looking for a star goalkeeper.

Croatian shot-stopper Vedran Runje has had a troubled spell at Stade Velodrome and Perrin is looking for a replacement.

Runje put in another shaky display in l'OM's 3-0 home defeat against PSG at the weekend, the capital side's first away win over Marseille for 15 years.

Although Perrin's side missed the chance to go clear of Monaco at the top of the table, they look sure to qualify for the Champions League at least.

Entrance to European football would spark transfer activity and Perrin's first target is a top class goalkeeper, and Landreau heads his list.

The Nantes glovesman has been constantly linked with moves away from La Beaujoire for some time, and Champions League football with Marseille would be a big attraction.

The 23-year-old Landreau can reportedly leave Nantes for around ‚é¼6 million and Perrin would be delighted to capture the man rated as the eventual successor to Fabien Barthez.
