NICE are frantically building a new side for their first season back in Le Championnat, as they prepare to unveil Gernot Rohr as their new manager.
The club has already tied up several players to long term contracts, after winning a reprieve from the French Football Federation (FFF) to remain in the top flight.
It had appeared that financial constraints would stop the club from being allowed to take up their spot amongst the biggest clubs, but after the decision to relegate them was reversed, Nice are desperate to build.
The only key player yet to agree to a stay - Didier Angan - is set to start talks this week, and Rohr will be in place imminently, after sealing a three-year deal.
There are also talks ongoing with Marseille for goalkeeper and former star Damien Gregorini and for Rennes forward Christophe Meslin.
