MARSEILLE have swooped to complete a double deal for Hadjuk Split duo Ivan Bosnjak.and goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa.
L'OM coach Tomislav Ivic is a big admirer of Bosnjak, who is a Croatian Under-21 international striker while Pletikosa is a full international for Croatia.
The deals follow hot on the heels of the moves for Daniel van Buyten and Frank Yobo from Standard Liege and Delfim from Sportin Lisbon bringing in the amount of new arrivals at The Stade Velodrome to ten.
The spending spree will see the club now forced to offload a number of players to balance the books.
Striker Florian Maurice was close to move away from Marseille with both Lille and Montpellier interested in signing him but the deal fell through over his wage demands.
Manuel Dos Santos has been linked with a move to Sochaux and he may be forced to leave despite looking to stay.
Lilian Martin and Ibrahim Bakayoko are also expected to be made available for transfer despite no offers being made for the players.
