Danish champions FC Copenhagen have completed the signing of Daniel Braaten on a free transfer following his departure from Toulouse.
The midfielder was released by the Ligue 1 club earlier in the summer and has now made the move to Denmark on a one-year contract.
He is delighted to have arrived at Copenhagen and is hoping to play regularly after a frustrating end to his five-year spell with Toulouse.
"I have joined a big club, the best club in Scandinavia who play in Europe every year," Braaten told VG.
"I have got some experience. That is one of the things I can offer the club."
"I am more keen to play football now than I was when I was a young player."
Copenhagen have been busy strengthening their squad this summer and have also signed defender Georg Margreitter on loan from Wolverhampton Wanderers until the end of the season.
