Toulouse midfielder Etienne Capoue is facing up to a month on the sidelines after suffering a head injury.
He picked up the knock in training after falling awkwardly.
He has been unable to run since and has been advised to avoid contact for the next four weeks.
Capoue will definitely sit out a Ligue 1 encounter with Lille on Friday, along with the suspended Antoine Devaux.
There is, however, better news about Emmanuel Riviere, Cheikh M'Bengue and Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, who have all returned to training.
Toulouse sit sixth in the French top flight, two points adrift of the European places.
